Dr. Tharaka Ananda is an experienced researcher, lecturer, writer in the field of cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, forensic anthropology, and archaeology. She has obtained her BA degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and has completed Postgraduate Diploma in Archaeology in 2017. Her Ph.D. which is based on the Bio-cultural Aspect of Sri Lankan Indigenous people was completed in 2019. Currently, she is serving as a lecturer in the Department of Anthropology of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and at the same time, she serves as a visiting scholar for various faculties and universities in Sri Lanka.
She is contributing her knowledge on various dimensions of anthropology through this Sri Lankan Anthropology online platform targeting the humans who are anticipated to know and to enlighten them-self about them-self.
